Indian Idol contestants Salman Ali, Arunita Kanjilal, Pawandeep Rajan, Sayali Kumble, and Danish Khan have joined the panel as captains.

We hear that all the five captains will be seen gracing The Kapil Sharma Show to promote the show.

The second season of Superstar Singer will be launched by mid of April, and it will replace India’s Got Talent, which stars Manoj Muntashir, Shilpa Shetty, Badshah, and Kironn Kher as the judges and is hosted by Arjun Bijlani.

The Kapil Sharma Show is currently airing its third season on Sony TV. The show also features Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri, Bharti Singh, Sumona Chakravarti, Chandan Prabhakar, and Archana Puran Singh. Recently, there have been rumours doing the rounds that The Kapil Sharma Show is going off air. Some posts on social media seem to suggest that the show is going on a forced break after the recent controversy surrounding Kapil and the film The Kashmir Files.

However, sources associated with the show say, “There is no truth to these rumours (of the show going off air). The show isn’t getting suspended abruptly, and there are no plans of pulling the plug on it. We are shooting as usual. In fact, shoots have been lined up till the end of April.”

The show might take a short break when Kapil will be travelling for his tour. The show’s team is reportedly working towards creating a bank of episodes for that period, which will air when the cast is away on tour for a month in June. The show may take a short break around that time because Kapil likes to take a break between seasons.

The Kapil Sharma show is co-produced by Salman Khan Television (SKTV) and Banijay Asia.
