Akanksha's character has seen a huge change over time. How challenging has the character gotten with time for you?

You get attached to the character you play and to the character who is around you, your family, friends, and your husband in the show. So, in the same show, when you have to show hatred towards them, it's emotionally draining and challenging, for me at least.

At times, I have to deliver some dialogues that I really don't want to but that's how my character has become. Otherwise, as an actor, I'm glad I get to play so many shades in one show itself.

Creating chemistry with Abhishek first and then with Manav was the major change. How did you handle this?

Chemistry is something you don't create. It just happens. In real life, Abhishek and Manav are really good friends of mine. So it's very easy to work with them and that comfort can be seen on screen as well. I get to learn a lot from these two veterans.

What kind of response do you get for your role on social media?

The response I get on social media is crazy. People get upset with me for the kind of mom and wife I am playing in the show. I get appreciated for my work but they simply hate the character.

Well said, Chandni!
