MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with yet another interesting update from the world of television.

We all know that Colors is all set to be back with season 2 of the popular social drama series Balika Vadhu.

The first season of the show was a huge hit and had a good run on the small screens for many years.

We had earlier informed you that actors like Sunny Pancholi, Ketki Dave, Seema Mishra, Mehul Buch, Riddhi Nayak, Supriya Shukla, Vansh Sayani, Rashmi Gupta, Shreya Patel, Jyoti Tiwari, Shiju Kataria have been roped in for Balika Vadhu 2.

TellyChakkar received the latest information that Child actor Arisht Jain will play the role of Gopal in Balika Vadhu 2, further details about the character are yet to be disclosed.

The shoot has already begun. The first 15 days are set to be shot in Rajasthan and later in Mumbai.

The show will be bankrolled by Sphere Origins.

The previous season of Balika Vadhu saw Avika Gor and Avinash Mukherjee as Anandi and Jagya respectively while Shashank Vyas and Pratyusha Banerjee played the grown-up Jagya and Anandi. Later, Toral Rasputra stepped into Pratyusha's shoes to play Anandi.
