MUMBAI:Kundali Bhagya is one of the most successful shows on television and it's among the top 10 shows.

The show is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms.

Ruhi Chaturvedi is a well-known personality on television and she essays the role of Sherlyn.

The actress has been associated with the serial for five and a half years and has built a good fan following.

The actress has finally taken a decision to quit the show.

Tellychakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her how she bagged the show and what type of character she would play in future.

Do you remember how you bagged the show, do you go through any auditions?

I had auditioned for some other production house and Balaji got my tape from there. I got a call that they needed to do a look test with me. When you get a call from Balaji and get selected, you have to prove yourself over here. The look test was done on the sets of Kundali Bhagya and they gave me a scene. I did it and they told me they will let me know.

For 15 days, I waited for them. They called me and told me I got selected. I was shocked that they signed me and I reached the set at 9 : 00 am. They took my first shot at 2 : 00 pm and then the same day at 9 : 30 pm. I was so nervous in spite of being a model, but thankfully, everything went right.

Who are you going to miss the most, post the show going off – air?

I am going to miss everyone as I have a different equation with everyone. We don't even fight because if we do, we end up having a good time still. I am going to miss everyone, even the crew of the serial. They have been sweet to me and I am going to miss the spot people also as they are so nice.

Since in Kundali Bhagya your character was grey and you essayed it for 5. 5 years. Do you wish that in your next project you do something different?

I feel everyone should know what they are good at and I think I look very good playing negative on-screen. I would want to play a strong character like Sherlyn as I wouldn’t want any role other than that. I am looking forward to OTT shows as well. So let see where my destiny takes me.

Well, there is no doubt that Ruhi has become a household name and fans would miss watching her as Sherlyn.
