Currently, the actress can be seen in the Sab TV Serial, ‘Pushpa Impossible’, where the audience are loving her love story.

Tellychakkar got in touch with the actress where she revealed her pairing with Naveen, her reaction to the role and much more.

What do you think about Pushpa Impossible as a show and the character that you are playing? What was your reaction when you were approached?

Pushpa Impossible is a show that encourages everyone, irrespective of their gender and age. It’s a show where we can see a single mother raising 3 kids on her own. Her husband was shown to be very drunk. Despite all of this, she still wants to continue to live her life and wants to live it well. There are women who feel tired and unmotivated by tough situations in their life but Pushpa’s character motivates all of these women and gives everyone a new perception towards life. The character teaches you how to mold yourself according to the new generation.

I’ve been wanting to play a positive character for a long time as I’ve only been playing negative ones for the last 2-3 years. So, when I was approached for the character of Dipti, I felt that she is very positive and at the same time very mature, independent and a strong headed girl who knows what she wants to do in life. Although she is married, she is still supporting her mother-in-law. She’s not a typical bahu. She’s very mature. These qualities of the character attracted me a lot when I was approached and I really wanted to play this character. While playing this role, I am getting to learn a lot and growing as a person. If someday I’m stuck in a situation, I can see how Dipti would react. I hope the audience is also learning something from it.

The pairing on-screen is amazing but how is your chemistry with Naveen (Ashwin) off camera?

The pairing on-screen is amazing. He is very supportive. Naveen is really a gentleman. We have a lot of fun together. We have a very good understanding when it comes to acting. The time that we have before getting into a scene together, we support each other well, if we have something to add to the scene or how we are going to react to something. Off-camera, we are always having fun.

What twist in your love story that the viewers should expect from the upcoming track?

Yes, there are going to be a lot of twists and turns. Currently, it’s quite lovey-dovey which happens normally after their wedding. So, the audience is getting to see that love and romance. Surely later on, the audience will get to see a lot of interesting twists in the story because as you know, no story goes all happy and simple. Story will have its ups and downs, just like it happens in life.
