It’s Wedding Season in Showbiz. From Grand receptions to simple Ceremonies, glittery lehengas to stylish kurtas, the stars have picked out their entourages for their Weddings. Likewise, Shrashti Maheshwari had a grand celebration of her Roka ceremony. We got in touch with the actress to know about her overall journey from their first meeting to her wedding plans ahead.

What made you say yes to an arranged marriage setting? 

Initially, I didn't decide to get married. My parents were actually looking out for many proposals for my sister so one fine day I told my parent that start searching for me too. Later on, they started searching for both of us that's how Mom Dad clicked with Karan. 

How did the cast of Pandya store react when they got to know about your marriage being fixed? 

Karan came to the sets of Pandya store to specially meet me. The co-stars felt that he might be my cousin or brother because I didn't tell anyone as this is how the rituals are done initially we do not reveal such information. Then they started pulling my legs as I didn't inform them earlier. Yeah then things happened and finally, I opened up about him in February. 

Who proposed first for the marriage? 

As I said he came on my sets to meet me. Likewise, I too had traveled to Banglore to see his work. We got along well and decide to see our parents for further discussion. They immediately agreed and in January on my birthday he gave me a pleasant surprise by proposing for marriage to which I said YES.

What is the special quality of your husband that you love the most? 

Karan is very supportive. He thinks if women of the house grow then the family grows. So it's important that the female of the house get growing with the family. He really respects that also he wanted a wife who is honest and dedicated to the work irrespective of the profession. Moreover, he wanted more women who want to grow in her life and want to achieve something in life. So yeah that is what matched with my thinking as well 

How do you spend time together with each other?

We play games together and the best part is we both are very young to get married and it's very amazing because I love to play secret rooms wherein you just go and find things. Moreover, we love playing board games together also love watching Netflix amazon together. So it's a great friendship between us and I love it very much.
