MUMBAI: Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain, a popular comedy show on &TV, is one of the most popular sitcoms on television.

For the past seven years, the show has been running on small screens with great popularity. Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain has its own fan following, which adds to its popularity among viewers. We've seen how the creators have skillfully crafted each and every character, each of whom is distinct in their own right. All of the characters, from Angoori Bhabhi to Vibhuti, have become highly popular among fans.

TellyChakkar confirmed the news that Actress Vidisha Srivastava will be replacing Neha Pendse in the show. Vidisha who is known for her roles in shows like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Meri Gudiya, Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram among others will essay the role of the infamous Anita Bhabhi.

Speaking Exclusively to TellyChakkar Vidisha revealed what she feels about taking on such an infamous character, she says, " To be a part of an iconic show like Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai is indeed a momentous feeling for me.

Anita Bhabhi is one of the most loved characters in the show and I feel honored to be chosen to essay the role. I am extremely excited to embrace the responsibility of playing the part and have a certain sense of confidence to win the hearts of the massive fan base of the show. Anita Bhabhi is a very contemporary and 'today's woman. She has a mind of her own and is quite bold. She stands up for what she believes in and never gets bogged down easily. And, of course, she is quite glamorous and has oodles of oomph. It is indeed a special character, and I am grateful to Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli Ji for showing their trust in my abilities and giving me this amazing opportunity to showcase my acting prowess. I am also excited to share the screen space with the accomplished and talented actors Aasif Sheikh, Rohitashv Gour, and Shubhangi Atre. I am looking forward to all the love and appreciation that the audience has shown and I hope to entertain them."

Anita's role was initially portrayed by Saumya Tandon who was a part of the show for almost 5 years. Later, when Saumya quit the show, Nehha stepped in her shoes. Nehha had joined the show's star cast last year. 

Well, we are sure after Saumya and Nehha, Vidisha will do full justice to Anita Bhabhi's character.
