MUMBAI: Vaishnavi Mcdonald is an integral part of Zee TV show Meet. In an exclusive conversation with Vaishnavi, for she is so beautiful, she gave us some very interesting beauty tips!

What is your beauty regime?

My beauty regime is I drink lots of water and try to eat healthy as far as possible, more of veggies and proteins , and I think what goes in your mouth is most important and what comes out of your mouth is also important, I pray a lot , and apart from that I go to the dermatologist regularly and I also take care of my skin and exercise. What brand do you swear by?

I don’t go by brands, I go by my beautician he name is Ayan, he is really good with the skin and he makes something good for me and he gives me creams and all which helps me.

Which brands are you loyal for?

For makeup yes but not for skin , I use regular brands because they do the same thing for cleansing and also micellar water.

Any home made nuskas?

I don’t do much in terms of that and if I am not shooting I keep my face clean or use minimum makeup otherwise and actually the best home made regime is don’t take stress, stress actually destroys your skin and for my hair my mom has her home made hair oil , that’s a brand which she came up with Bountyful , it helps with hairfall and hairgrowth. 

Any tips to enhance beauty to make man or woman fall in love with you?

The man I wanted to fall in love is already in love with me, but definitely yes be natural and take care of your skin, because that’s more important and you are good to go and these things are more than enough than makeup , just be yourself, you’ll get the right person. 

What do you do when you have to look best for your big event?

I go for a good facial, and then hair spa , good makeup and little hair do and nice beautiful dress. 

Have you ever had beauty disasters?

Many of them, I’ve learned a hard way. You look tacky sometimes but you think you’ve done a great job but then when you reach the spot others are very subtle and you look like a joker. 

How do you overcome them?

I used to visit the washroom, take the tissue and remove the make-up as much as possible. (laughs) 

What is that one thing you have to wear on your day out?

My watch, that is something I don’t go out without. 

What is your night beauty regime?

It’s the night cream and massage my face , I do Talaka massage and if I am coming back from shoot I do cleansing and massage. 

You’ve done different looks in different shows, which is your favourite one?

In Meet, because it’s very subtle look and the makeup which they are using is liquid which allows my skin to be seen, and Choti Maa, I played a double role and there was lot of variety. 

What is your beauty mantra?
