MUMBAI: Shashi Sumeet has been the name behind numerous blockbuster shows, we recently saw Kyun Utthey Dil Chhod Aaye and Barrister Babu, currently with Meet the producers are entertaining the fans. The stellar Jodi Shagun Pandey and Ashi Singh are winning hearts. Shagun has been one of the most successful actors of Shashi Sumeet's clan, they were the ones who even found the gem Anchal Sahu. Now, the production is all set to bring Banni Chow Home Delivery on floors. 

We rang the gorgeous diva Ulka Gupta aka Banni, in an exclusive conversation we spoke about her excitement, character in the show and more, you would need a book to note her intriguing responses for sure: 

Coming with a show which is completely off-beat; How excited are you to come back with Banni Chow Home Delivery? 

I cannot explain my joy, this is something I was waiting for. There isn't any better comeback than Banni. My standards for myself and my fans were very high as I have been someone portraying characters in shows like Jhansi Ki Rani, Shakti peeth and I have done movies where I played the character of Queen. I am so glad that I have been offered an extraordinary personality to play. Banni is one of them. 

Tell us something about Banni

She is a very great character girl, a one-woman army. She is everything that today's world and feminism talk about. She is independent, she is 'Atmanirbhar', she is self-reliant has her own business, she earns for herself from a very young age and she is everything to herself. As well as she is very feminine and has all qualities of being a loving and caring person. She is a complete package. 

What would you want the viewers to know through Banni?

The key feature of Banni is that she has those intriguing fight scenes like south films, she gives it back to them on the other hand she is very loving and kind. She lost her parents at a very young age, generally, people grow up numb but Banni has her care and love intact, she still has that innocence. She is everything a young woman should be, I am really glad that I would be able to portray her for all the young girls of India. She is very feminine, being a very feminist ideal. She loves cooking food, she loves taking care of people, loves to give, rides her scooter and works as a strong woman. Everything the 21st century should be doing, a young woman should be portrayed as. She is very desi, she knows English but has a unique accent to it.
