MUMBAI:  Sony SAB's Maddam Sir is one of the most popular cop-based comedy-drama series on the small screen. The show stars Gulki Joshi, Sonali Naik, Priyanshu Singh, Yukti Kapoor, and Bhavika Sharma in the lead roles. Actors like Ashwani Rathore, Ajay Jadhav, and Satyapal, among others, also play pivotal roles in the show.

Bhavika Sharma played the role of Santosh Sharma, a police officer in charge of cyber-crime and Cheetah's love-interest. She is now quitting the show. The audience loved her in her character and her performance. They will surely miss her.

TellyChakkar recently got in touch with the actress and had a conversation about her leaving the show and what is coming up next for her.

What is the plan now after quitting the show?

“I have planned some things for myself and if it works out the way I have planned out, you will get to see me again soon.”

When did you realise that the growth you wanted in your character was not happening and you needed to explore more opportunities?

“I realised it way back I was waiting for the right time in the hope that my character might grow a little more. I waited but eventually it did not happen so I had to take a call. As an actor, you need to keep moving and you cannot stop at one place. You have to keep exploring different things and I felt that quitting the show was the right move.”

Will we be seeing you on reality TV?

“I am not doing any reality TV currently. As I haven’t gotten a call yet so I haven’t thought about it either. When I get the offer, I will think about it then.

According to the latest plot, Vikram is in a masquerade club where he is drinking and partying. He stumbles across a waiter and insults him. Haseena tries to control him and calls him Vikram. Vikram then confesses that he is actually Ajay, and Haseena can do nothing but salute him. Shivani also reaches the masquerade party and eavesdrops on them from a corner of the bar. She is about to attack him, when both Shivani and Haseena look at each other, and Haseena gets suspicious of Shivani, who at that point of time is in a mask.
