MUMBAI: Qurbaan Hua on Zee TV was a visual experience and the show recently culminated. The actors bid adieu to the show as they wrapped up and now in an exclusive conversation with Parakh Madan, she shared her experience shooting for the show among many other things…
Take a look:
I want to know your experience with the show?
My entire experience on the show from day 1 till the day we wrapped up was very pleasant and it’s been a good bond with the actors and very profitable production.
Do you think that the show had a very short run as compared to other shows?
I don’t about the length but I know we went through a lot, we went through 2 lockdowns and even in second lockdown we were shooting in Goa and Navsari, then we went to time slot change and also three months down the line we went through main lead replacement, the show has been through ups and downs but still stood strong, it would have been nice if it worked a little longer but it had its run. What is the best moment from the show which you’ll cherish for life?
I think the outdoor shoots we had to go to Goa and Navsari, Gujarat, turned out to be a place where us as actors the entire team bonded very well because we were in the middle of the pandemic, isolated in one hotel and shooting , so that is something that will stay not just with me but with everyone for as long as we think of Qurbaan Hua.
Do you plan any reunions ? Who are you going to stay in touch with after the show?
We already have our WhatsApp chat group so that is going to stay, we already planned reunions, obviously the show has just ended and everything is in your head and you will get new projects, I will stay in touch with both my partners in crime one is Nishad (Vaidya) who used to play Alekh in the show and the other one is Neelam Ji who is Godambari on the show, we had different kind of bond.
This was a different shade so in future what kind of roles are you looking at?
I am very intrigued with negative characters because the scope of a negative character or a grey shade is immense, I am not exactly looking for negative but I am a little bent towards them and I am open for everything as long as it excites me.
The OTT media is also growing big and your face definitely fits into that space so do you see yourself doing some shows?
Yes, OTT is massive right now and I am definitely putting myself in OTT also.
Are you open to doing bold sequences?
I have no issue with that. I have done that in the past, one was in the film Dev D and my character was bold.
Which genera excites you the most?
Edge of the seat thrillers excites me the most.
