MUMBAI: Shubhashish Jha was last seen in SAB TV's show Jijaji Chhat Parr Koii Hai, where he played the role of Jijaji/Jitendra Jamvant Jindal. 

The actor was paired opposite popular TV hottie Hiba Nawab, who was seen as Connaught Place Sharma aka CP. 

The show came back with the second season on public demand and viewers loved it. 

Each and every character was lauded for their performance. 

TellyChakkar got in touch with Shubhashish, who spoke at length about Jijaji Chhat Parr Koii Hai and much more.

If given a chance to work with Hiba once again, what kind of project you would love to do?

I would definitely love to work with Hiba. She is one of the best co-actresses I have worked with. She is extremely professional and spontaneous. Her work ethics are also amazing. Over a period of 5 to 6 months, we had developed a great understanding. There is a natural ease and we both understand each other's timing. No matter whatever genre we do, it will be a new start, so I am open to doing any genre with her. But I would love to do a drama show together. 

What is your dream role?

As of now, I am not thinking about taking up work basis on just the roles. I want to be a part of good stories as a leading actor. I would love to perform in projects with good stories. I want to be a part of stories that I would love to see as an audience as well. I will mould myself into any role. 

How much does screen space matter to you?

Screen space definitely matters to me. As I earlier said, I want to be a part of not just good stories but also strong characters who have an impact on viewers. Whenever an actor signs any project, he/she is well-aware of what he is offered and how the character will be. But there are times when an actor is unhappy with the way the character is shaping and they have left the show and picked up something else. But in my case, I always knew what I am doing. 

The actor has previously done shows like Jiji Maa, MTV Big F, Qubool Hai, and Laal Ishq among others.
