With Gaurav Khanna's entry into the show as Anuj Kapadia, what can the fans expect from Vanraj? Do you feel any pressure whenever a new character is introduced to the show?

Gaurav Khanna's entry as Anuj Kapadia has been much in buzz, it is very important for our show. We have always been on top of the TRP ratings, the kind of drama that has been unfolding in the show is much loved. Fans can expect a lot more drama from Vanraj, there shall be more layering of the character of Vanraj with Anuj's entry. 

There is no pressure as such, as I am usually excited about every scene that I do on daily basis. Yes, with Anuj, all that could be expected more interesting twists and turns coming for Vanraj and the Shah family. 

What is that one x-factor about Vanraj that has been your utmost favourite as Sudhanshu?

In spite of the fact that he has not been in the best of his behaviour as Vanraj Shah with Anupamaa, he still has a lot of love and respect for her. He also has a lot of respect for Kavya, although he doesn't have the right words to say it. But if he is put in the situation to protect the women he loves then he would put his chest in between the bullet and them without any hesitation.  I think that's one X-Factor I love about Vanraj Shah. 

According to you what makes Vanraj an off-beat character?

Vanraj's complex and complicated nature and behaviour is what makes him very very off-beat. He is slightly unpredictable, he is everything emotional, blank, good or bad, everything you can imagine a human being to be he has got it. That's why he is offbeat according to me.
