MUMBAI: Dr Pulkit Deshpande aka Yash Pandit has been an eminent part of both the Film and TV industries. He began his career at an early age with Haathon Ki Lakeerein as a child actor. There was no looking back for the actor after his debut in ‘Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai?’.

We rang the actor asking about his journey in the show and some interesting stories about Devkit. Here's what the actor had to share:

Tell us about your bond with Mitaali Nag offsets.

The bond is wonderful, she is an amazing person. We always improvise our scenes together and they come out beautifully onscreen. We both our singers, we make reels and practice music in our free time on the sets. It has created a bond between Mitaali and me, she's a great actor, it is always a pleasure to work with fine actors.

What shades can be expected from your character Pulkit? Will he stay positive only?

So far from what I am briefed, there is not much of a change. Pulkit is a simple, sweet person who is a respectful doctor. When it comes to taking a stand for his women, he doesn't think about being politically correct he would just stand like a wall for them. He is someone who handles situations tactfully, he is matured enough to differentiate between right and wrong. The further track still hasn't unveiled anything different for Pulkit yet.  

Which scene would be your utmost favourite from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin?

I think my scene when I am confronting the whole family when I enter the house after so many years when I hold the hand of Devyani and the whole family questions my comeback. It was my introduction scene and I feel that shall always stay as my much-adored scenes from the show.

How has the journey been with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin?

The journey has been nice, I love that my character has been well defined. He has the authority to speak to anybody in the family with that right is something I really love about him. He has his own say, when he talks, people listen to him. Otherwise, Pulkit is a very calm and happy go- lucky guy. The character is quite straightforward with his personality and thinks good for everyone.
