MUMBAI: Shiny Doshi is one of the most sought after actresses today and as much as she is spoken about for her professional life, her personal life has also recently come into limelight when she announced her engagement with boyfriend Lavesh Khairajani. 

Shiny shared on how the two fell in love. 

Shiny said, “We met through a common friend, Pranitaa Pandit who is also an actor. She is my best friend. I was going through a lot in my personal and professional life and there are times when you go through a low phase in life and she was always there for me. My mother was also worried and she kept suggesting me that I should get married and meet people, like every mother would be worried. She asked me for my kundali so she chould start looking for suitors for me and that is how it started. 

Now Pari (Pranitaa) and Lavesh have known each other for 10 years and she suggested me to meet him. So actually whenever we met, we did not meet to establish a relationship. We met as suitors for marriage and it was very clear that if we click, we will get married. The kundalis matched really well which was a win-win point for me and then we got to know each other if we are compatible enough or not and eventually slowly and gradually we developed feelings. That strong bond took time and I am glad that is happened gradually as only then can strong relationships be built. So it has been really nice and the best thing about him is that Lavesh always supports me when it comes to my work or any crises I have, I know he is there for me and handle me very well!”
