MUMBAI: Zee TV show Meet brings a fresh pairing of Ashi Singh and Shagun Pandey but the concept of the show is also very unique.

The show is touted to be a remake of popular Bengali show Bokul Kotha. It is a story of Meet, a tomboyish girl, who looks after all the responsibilities of her family. Now, in an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Ashi shared some details of how she entered into this industry among other things. Take a look:

What is that one thing that nobody knows about your struggle period?

There are few things like some people think that it was a one day thing and I got a show and became hit, but before that for 2-3 years I auditioned in a lot of places and I never traveled and I was always around the house, one time I had to go from Andheri to Thane and then Thane to Naigaon and I didn’t know how to go and I went up on a bus and the bus stopped far away from my destination and I didn’t know where I was and I was crying at that moment.

What was your life like before becoming an actor?

I used to study and I was in the drama team in college because I was always passionate about it.

Who is your best friend in this industry?

I don’t have any best friend, but I do have some good friends and there are people whom I have met.

What is your comfort food on the sets?

My comfort food is home cooked food, generally muesli with dry fruits and coconut water in the morning and any sabzi and chapati for lunch and in the evening sprouts and I try to avoid the dinner.

Whom would you kill, marry and hook up with from the sets?
