MUMBAI: Tellychakkar got in touch with Rahil Azam and got to know interesting insights about the show and his character in it.

Star Bharat is set to launch another show titled Dheere Dheere Se which is said to premiere soon. The show will be produced by Siddarth Kumar Tewari’s Swastik Productions. The show stars Rahil Azam and Reena Kapoor in the lead. The show is about a widow named Bhavna who fears being alone. She has to start her life once again after her husband passes away and the plot revolves around how she handles life post the unfortunate event of her life.

Rahil Azam started his career as a model. Then he made his television debut in 2001 in the daily soap Ek Tukdaa Chaand Ka. Later, he appeared in episodic roles in the horror show Ssshhhh...Koi Hai and Achanak 37 Saal Baad.

In 2003, Azam played the lead in the adventure-fantasy drama series Hatim on Star Plus. Azam was featured as the male lead role of Ye Meri Life Hai. He was also a part of the shows Gulaal, Tu Aashiqui, and most recently, he was seen in Sony SAB’s Maddam Sir.

He is all set to play the lead of Raghav in Star Bharat’s upcoming Dheere Dheere Se.

Tellychakkar got in touch with the actor and got to know interesting insights about the show and his character in it. 

What did you first think about when you heard about the idea of the show and what made you say yes?

“I was very happy that we were shooting in Mumbai. The second reason was I wanted to work with Swastik Productions. It had been a long due since we had tried to work on many shows but it didn’t work out because all the shows were outdoors. Another reason was that I have worked in every channel, be it Star Plus, Star One, Life OK, but Star Bharat was the one I never worked for. These are the three main reasons and these made me say yes. I did not get much into the details of the character, I just wished to know if it's positive because I keep switching between positive and negative roles. This time I wanted to do out and out positive.”

What will we get to see in the track of the show?

“It's a day-to-day life story. I wouldn’t say it is different because it is nothing over the top. It is a simple story about a guy and this lady, their families, and their relationships with their families. So when my character comes across what has happened with this lady and her family, I try to motivate her. It is more of a lady who has had unfortunate things in her life, so I try to make it positive and make her believe that she can do things where she feels underconfident.”

What can we expect from your character?

“He is a well-educated guy with an amazing sense of humor, respects elders, and loves his parents. He has a nature of motivating people. When he comes across this lady who is falling short of doing so many things in life where she can do them, he indirectly motivates her and shows her that she need not rely on someone in life. I tell her that you have always been independent, you have come into the beautiful world alone and you will always stand alone.”
