MUMBAI: Sacred Games fame Kartik Soni tied the knot with his girlfriend Dr Aastha in an intimate wedding recently. Keeping the COVID-19 guidelines in mind, the duo decided to keep the celebration personal.

The actor has been a part of web series like Mrs Serial Killer and Sacred Games. In February, Kartik had announced his engagement with his girlfriend Aastha but due to the COVID complications, the wedding was delayed a little.       

Kartik’s alliance is a love-cum-arranged marriage.  

Finally, the duo decided to have an intimate wedding in Bhopal with their family members. His wife is a doctor by profession and the lockdown played cupid in their love story. Kartik found his soul mate amid the pandemic.

Talking about the wedding, he said, “Aastha and I met through our family members, and we felt the spark between us. We dated for a year, decided to settle down. The pandemic had different plans for us but it indeed played cupid and made me meet my soul mate. We choose an intimate wedding in Bhopal and I am truly enjoying this phase."
