TellyChakkar got in touch with Shagun and asked him about how his journey has been as an actor and if he is interested in OTT.

From an out and out negative role in Tujhse Hai Raabta to a completely positive role in Kyun Utthe, how has the journey been?

My only priority in my career is to do various things as my profession allows me to do that. In Tujhse Hai Raabta, I never started as a negative character, but that changed and I didn’t have an option. I played a completely positive character in Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye and am doing so in Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet.

Even though I am learning and the journey has been great, I have a variety of work to look back on. I am a very positive person and look forward to doing good work and keeping the audience entertained.

Are you interested in exploring roles on OTT? If yes, then what kind of roles would interest you?

Yes, I am up for any kind of work where I am allowed to perform and be creative in my craft. I should have the scope to perform and derive creative satisfaction. Whether it is OTT, Bollywood, short films, music videos, or television, I am open to anything. I am also exploring myself. I love what I am doing. I hope great things come my way and I entertain the audience.

Which reality show would you never want to do even if you were approached?

I feel all the reality shows made these days are entertaining  but I would never do a Swayamvar. I don’t think it’s real. Otherwise I am open to reality shows.
