MUMBAI: Sony TV's show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 is working wonders on small screens ever since the beginning.

The show has a stellar star cast of Nakuul Mehta, Disha Parmar, Shubhaavi Choksey, Pranav Misshra, Ajay Nagrath, Abhinav Kapoor, Alefia Kapadia, Utkarsh Gupta, Sneha Namanandi, Aanchal Khurana, among others.

Utkarsh is seen playing the pivotal role of Kunal Randhawa who is Ram's best friend in the show.

The actor's character is quite fun-loving and the viewers are impressed with Utkarsh's stellar performance.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Utkarsh who spoke at length about Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 and much more.

Just like Vikrant and Aditya's character, Kunal is also quite close to Ram. How did you manage to build that rapport with Nakuul that reflects so well on-screen?

Kunal is very close to Ram. But he doesn't confront openly to Ram just like Vikrant and Aditya do. He observes things and only says a few things to make Ram understand. He is very concerned about Ram. Kunal manages to convince Ram in that. We constantly have fun on the set and that's why our scenes come out so well on-screen. Nakuul and I share a very good bond.

Given a chance to swap your character with someone else from the show, who would you like to play and why?

It is such a grand show and the makers have cast actors accurately as per the character sketch. Everyone has been given a perfect character that suits each one of them. All of them have a strong character and we can't deny this. Talking about swapping my character, I wouldn't want to swap it with anyone. Because what Kunal can do, no one else can. Kunal will be one of his kind in the entire show. I am very happy to play this character.

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 has such a huge star cast and you tend to perform scenes with a lot of them. Have there been moments where you have had a creative difference of opinion while performing and how do you handle such situations?

The whole cast is very supportive and amazing. I would like to say that for any actor, their co-stars are like the second family. Everyone tries to mould themselves as per the situation. I don't think any actor would get angry. Every situation is manageable. A good actor will also encourage, motivate and support their co-stars. I have got such great actors in all my shows so far. The same goes with this show. I never faced any difficulty while performing scenes. They all are nice people and I love them.

Utkarsh has previously starred in shows like Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Dance India Dance, MTV Splitsvilla 8, Naagin 5, among others.
