MUMBAI: The light-eyed powerhouse dance champion who entered showbiz as a winner of the reality show Dance India Dance followed by his acting debut as a child artist in historical show Maharana Pratap & later went on to win another celebrity dance reality show, Faisal Khan is all grown up now & makes a fiction comeback with Siddharth Kumar Tewary's historical series.

Faisal will replace Kartikey Malviya in the extension of the globally hit Porus, Chandragupta Maurya which revolves around the life of the orphaned, abandoned founder of the Maurya empire & his camaraderie with the greatest teacher, philosopher & royal advisor Chanakya as a part of a 5 year leap.

A source close to the show shared the first look of Faisal Khan as Chandragupta & he looks almost unrecognizable in this new avatar. Apparently for this role Faisal has been asked to lose some weight & also maintain a beard.

It will be interesting for fans of the child actor to see him all grown up over the years on screen.
