Deva Ho Deva Ganpati Deva…The coming week will see the grand celebration of Ganesh Utsav on Indian television. Yes, the festival of revering the God with an elephant head has arrived and while the whole of India celebrates the festival our television shows too will put in their best to praise the Lord. Therefore, keeping up with the trend of showcasing Indian festivals on-screen, Zee TV will be celebrating Ganeshotsav in a grand way in Pavitra Rishta. A lot of TV celebrities will be seen performing on the show that includes actors from other Zee serials. Interestingly, the Grand Masti team which comprises of Viveik Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani will also make their presence felt at the event. Colors’ Balika Vadhu will witness Anandi (Toral Rasputra) and Shiv (Siddharth Shukla) celebrating the festival together while Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha Season 2 will end with a Ganesh aarti on 13 September, 2013. There will also be Ganeshotsav sequence in Colors’ Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon in which RK will be seen praying to the Lord just before his film’s muhurat. Furthermore, we hear that Mrs Pammi Pyarelal and Sasural Simar Ka too might see a Ganapati puja sequence soon. SAB TV’s Baal Veer will witness Lord Ganesha rescuing the paris (angels) from Bhayankar Pari on Ganesh Chaturthi day while the Gokuldham vasis will be seen chanting Ganpati bappa – morya together in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. So, in case you miss going to a nearby pandal to offer prayers to Lord Ganesha, keep in mind to tune in to your TV sets to get a darshan of Ganpati bappa as he is all set to come into your living rooms.
