Gaurav Chopra (aka Captain Abhimanyu Rai Chauhan of Left Right Left fame) is set to make his maiden appearance in a film. However, that's not the reason for his excitement. In fact, he doesn't want to call it his Bollywood debut. So, what is it about this film that has got Gaurav excited?

Says he, "This film is called Humne Jeena Seekh Liya and it's directed by Milind Kukey who assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali in films like Khamoshi and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Milind is a dear friend of mine and thus I couldn't refuse him; albeit it's just a cameo.'

He adds, "I consider this film as a revolution in film-making. On the first day of my shoot, I was offered tea by a gentleman. I was taken aback when I learnt that he's the biggest psychiatrist of Nasik. To my utmost surprise most of the personnel on the sets turned to out to be professionals. I was overwhelmed to hear that a bunch of professionals had come together to make a film.

Milind and these professionals have started a campaign called Spandhan Cinema Movement. Bollywood always shells out crores of rupees in marketing but this film has adopted a unique way. Milind and his troop have gone to people's homes and explained their film. That's s not all. They have given free tickets. I haven't come across any film where the advance booking has taken place 10-15 days before its release."

Speaking on his role, Gaurav says, "I'm making a guest appearance. Irfan Khan too plays a cameo. My character is called Vijay, who is a social activist. He serves as a hero for the lead protagonist, who is just 14 years old. It's a simply story about the life of youngsters as they grow up. "

While he'll be playing a cameo in Humne Jeena Seekh Liya, Gaurav has already been signed by Milind to play the lead in the latter's upcoming film Rashtra. In fact, Rashtra will be solely about the life of Vijay - Gaurav'character in Humne Jeena…

"Humne Jeena… is slated to release on 4th January. I firmly believe that this is a start of new revolution and it will snowball in to something really big" concludes Gaurav.
