MUMBAI: We have seen Divyanka Tripathi as Ishita Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, but now, gear up to witness an all new avatar of hers!

Divyanka will soon be seen playing the role of Nitya in ALTBalaji’s Cold Lassi Aur Chicken Masala opposite Ranjeev Khandelwal. Going by the trailer of the show, Divyanka will be seen in an aggressive avatar, and it is something that she has never explored before!

However, the lady had recently been juggling between three shows – Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Cold Lassi Aur Chicken Masala, and reality show The Voice (host).

When asked about how she managed to shoot for all the three projects, Divyanka shared, 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, The Voice, and Cold Lassi Chicken Masala, all the three shows were different and had their own set of challenges. The audience got to see me as a sweet, family-oriented woman with high moral values as Ishita,  and there was always a thrill factor of the show like making new plans, solving them, etc… new tracks used to be introduced. Nitya in Cold Lassi Aur Chicken Masala is aggressive. Playing Nitya offered me versitility as an actress. Also, once you’ll watch the series, you’ll notice that Nitya had an innoicent past and a strong violent and aggressive present.'

'Subsequently, dressing up beautifully was the good part of the The Voice, but the challenge was standing for more than 14 hours to host the show. It is a bow down moment for all the people who are anchors!'

These days, most of television show hosts are asked to incorporate comedy while hosting. Shedding some light on the same, Divyanka mentioned, 'Well, the makers wanted a household face who could connect with the audience. I even asked them if they want me to attempt comedy, but they suggested that I am pretty good at what I am doing.'
