For Jay Soni, God is his best friend!! And these days, the elegant actor finds solace when he visits a church!!

Yes, in spite of being a Gujarati, Jay is simply in love with the St. Anglino Church opposite Bandstand in Bandra. It has become a routine for him for the past three months to visit the church every Sunday.  

Says Soni who will be seen anchoring SAB TV’s Comedy Ke Superstar, “Yes, it is true that I visit the church every week. Whenever I feel low, my next destination is the church in Bandra. I have been doing this for three months now, and on seeing me many of my friends have also started to visit the church. It is a routine for me to visit Icchapurthi Hanuman temple in Malad every Saturday, and the church every Sunday.”

Jay who has received huge appreciation for his anchoring prowess in shows Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs and Dil Hai Chota Sa Choti Si Asha feels that his comic timing is his strength, and the good sense of humour in him helps him a lot when he is put to anchoring duties.

So what will Jay want to pick up in fiction next? “I have a boy next door image. I want to experiment with roles and do what is not expected of me, like that of a spoilt brat or a casanova.”
