MUMBAI: TellyChakkar.com broke the news of Zee TV show Hamari Bahu Silk's cast and crew facing severe non-payment issues since the entire tenure of the show. The distressed cast and crew opinionated that they may resort to ending their lives, if their payments are not made.

The news got viral and the cast and crew received support from many celebrities. However, there have been no responses or updates on their payments until now.
The lead actor of the show Zaan Khan took to Instagram and posted a video where he was angry and addressed the producers and the channel. In the video Zaan can be seen expressing how the cast and crew are going through a tough time and the lockdown is only adding to the ordeal. Zaan said that the cast and crew is not concerned with the rivalry or the miscommunications between producers, their partners and the channels. Since the cast and crew has worked round the clock for the show, they deserve their hard-earned money.
