Three biggies of the television industry are celebrating their birthdays today (7 October 2012). And, it’s being a Sunday, the day promises to bring in a whole lot of fun and frolic.
The three who are celebrating their birthdays are Sharad Kelkar, seen as Dr Ashutosh in Kuch Toh Log Kahenege on Sony Entertainment Television, the beautiful and veteran actor Renuka Shahane and Abhijit Sawant, Indian Idol season one winner.
Shares Sharad, “Well, I am not shooting today and will be with my friends for some time. I think my wife Keerti (Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar) has planned something for me but I have no details about it. Let’s see how my evening goes. Last night, I was with my friends when I cut a cake. There’s nothing that I am missing on my birthday, it’s a perfect day.”
Avers Renuka, “It’s a Sunday and naturally, kids are at home. I am chilling out with them. Later in the day, I will be going out for dinner with my husband Ranaji (Ashutosh Rana) and the children. Last night, I was with my close friends who have been my friends since my school days. My entire family brought in my birthday sharp at 12 midnight with a big bang and a lot of shor and masti. I just wish that all my projects that are in pipeline will finish in time. And I would be very selfish if I ask for more. I consider myself to be blessed.”
“I am not at all a party person. I was at Pune yesterday and reached home this morning. I will spend my day with my family. I have been getting calls and messages since morning and have a nice feeling. The only thing that I wish this birthday is that I should be loaded with work and my fans keep loving and supporting me,” observes Abhijit.
