Three lovely ladies of television industry viz beautiful actress Vindhya Tiwari, effervescent Prerna Wanvari and veteran choreographer Saroj Khan are celebrating their birthdays today (22 November). Let’s talk to them and ask them as to how are they celebrating the special day? Answers Vindhya, “My birthday celebrations started six to seven days ago. For me, my birthday is like a New Year. I feel great as my parents pamper me a lot, cook my favourite food and shower me with lovely gifts. Last night my family and close friends surprised me with a birthday cake. Today my mom is making my favourite dish that is dahi wada and gulab jamun; she also gifted me a diamond earring. Every year, my dad gifts me some or the other gadget; so this year I have asked him to get me a Macbook Air. And today in the evening we have a small get together at the Novotel Hotel.” How do you feel on getting a year older? “I never think I am getting older; on the contrary feel that I am moving gracefully ahead in life. Since the last year has been wonderful, I would pray to God to give me a beautiful life ahead.” Next let’s hear it from Prerna (Parichay, Adaalat): “My family and close friends surprised me last night. They brought lovely cakes, cup cakes and my brother cooked Swiss roll cake especially for me. Tonight I am treating them at my favourite place, Tryst at Lower Parel. Birthdays are incomplete without gifts. Thus a very close friend of mine gifted me two soft toys and a lovely dress which I will wear tonight. My dad gave me the best gift I could think of. Knowing very well that I am a grown up kid now, he has allotted me a separate bedroom. I earlier used to share my room with my brother.” Lastly dancing queen Saroj Khan adds, “I don’t celebrate my birthday. On this special day, I meet my all students and spend my day with them. My precious gifts are their smiles and wishes.
