MUMBAI: The television and film industry lost talented actor Anupam Shyam yesterday. 

The actor was in the hospital for a few days and was battling some kidney-related ailments. 

The news about the actor's demise left his diehard fans, friends, and co-stars deeply sad.

Anupam ji played the role of Thakur Sajjan Singh on Pratigya in both the first and second seasons of the show.

The actor who received lots of appreciation for his stellar performance on the show is no more. 

Everyone shared a great bond with this talented actor. 

TellyChakkar got in touch with Tina Philip, who had recently joined the star cast of Pratigya 2. 

The actress revealed her thoughts on Anupam ji's demise and shared her work experience. 

Tina said, ''He was a very wonderful person. Anupam ji had a childlike personality. I learned a lot from him. He used to give me acting tips.''

She further added, ''Anupam ji used to tell me that, 'Main tumhara bauji hoon' (I am like your father). He used to consider me as his daughter, and I had a great time working with such a talented actor.''

Tina had also penned down a heartfelt note on Instagram and shared a delightful picture as she expressed her sadness on this loss. 

Well, Anupam ji will also be remembered by one and all.
