MUMBAI: In 2020, Kumkum Bhagya started with Abhi and Pragya living their lives separately and Prachi and Ranbir falling in love with each other. However, the year has certainly changed several things in these characters’ lives. Take a look.

Kumkum Bhagya is a family drama based on Abhi-Pragya’s lives and their daughters Rhea and Prachi. The story has taken a major turn as Abhi has agreed to get married to Meera. Now, it remains to be seen if Abhi ends up reigniting his feelings for Pragya or will he go ahead with his upcoming wedding for his daughter’s sake. As we are gearing up to bid adieu to 2020, here’s taking a look at how their lives have evolved and changed in this one year. In 2020, Kumkum Bhagya started with Abhi and Pragya making a plan to meet each other in the cafe while Ranbir realising he is falling in love with Prachi. Rhea gets to know about Ranbir’s feelings and she decides to prove that Prachi is characterless. She takes help from Sanju and makes a plan to release a fake MMS of Prachi. Prachi gets devastated after seeing her clip go viral. However, Ranbir promises that he will find the real culprit.

Later, Rhea creates a bigger misunderstanding. She gets Ranbir arrested in a sexual assault case. Maya who is the fake victim takes the advantage of this. Prachi helps Ranbir to get out of it, however, later Maya asks Ranbir to marry her. While Ranbir is trying to confess his feelings for Prachi, Abhi and Pragya decide to meet at several occasions but fail every time.

After Maya leaves Ranbir for good, Rhea tries different ways to separate Prachi and Ranbir. She also tries to prove Prachi wrong by blaming her for stealing money. Later, Abhi saves Prachi. There comes a moment when Abhi finally meets Pragya in a restaurant where he is in a drunken state and tells Pragya that he always does this when he misses her. Pragya then takes him home.

Ranbir falls in love with Prachi and plans a date for her. They spent a good time with each other. However, Rhea gets to know about their date and she decides to commit suicide. Ranbir reaches to the hospital and tells his parents about Prachi. They ask him to stay away from her. Abhi blames Prachi for Rhea’s suicide attempt. Pragya and Abhi finally meet at the factory after 20-long years.

At the Diwali party at Mehra mansion, Rhea meets Pragya at Abhi’s house where Pragya tells her that she wants to be with her daughter. Rhea gets arrested at Diwali party and Pragya and Prachi rush to save her. Rhea gets emotional meeting her mother and sister. She hugs Prachi and the two share a happy moment with each other.

In the recent episodes, Ranbir is asked to stay away from Prachi while Abhi is getting married to Meera. Pragya is devastated after knowing about Abhi’s wedding.
