Well, it is none other than actor Shagun Pandey who plays the role of Artharv. Actors often take up challenges to be more creative and add a tang of uniqueness to their character and looks like Shagun absolutely loves taking up different challenges. The lad will soon be seen getting into the act of a transgender in the upcoming episdoes.

As a part of a sequence, we hear that Atharv will undergo a look change in order to earn a lot of money by dealing with women in a brothel. His intentions will be to ruin Kalyani (Reem Shaikh) and Malhar’s (Sehban Azim) life and leave India.

On playing such a crucial character, Shagun wrote on his Instagram profile:

'Being transgender is independent of sexual orientation. Transgender people may identify as heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, asexual, or may decline to label their sexual orientation. The term transgender is also distinguished from intersex, a term that describes people born with physical sex characteristics "that do not fit typical binary notions of male or female bodies" The opposite of transgender is cisgender, which describes persons whose gender identity or expression matches their assigned sex.'
