MUMBAI: Actor Himanshu Malhotra wants to be more proactive in the coming year. The actor says that he wants to focus on learning new things and advancing more in 2020. “I have decided that in 2020, I will be more proactive. I want to do a lot of things, learn new things which are extremely important. I want to learn new skills, do lots and lots of work in the acting and hosting field. I want to create more content for my talk show Share And Grow because people are loving it,” he says.
He also doesn’t want to repeat the mistakes he made this year. “I would like to be slightly more silent in terms of control my tongue and use my words correctly. I want to try and control my pent up emotions and also try to create more balance. Another thing that I don't want to repeat in 2020 is not to wake up late in the morning. My usual wake up time is 4.30 am and I would like to continue like this. I think time management is extremely important. If you wake up early in the morning then you can kind of lead your life the way you want instead of running after the time,” he says.
Talking about his personal achievements in 2019, he says, “Health-wise the year has been quite troublesome as for past 4 months I have suffered from an infection called h pylori which created a lot of problems in my gut and in my stomach. I am continually going to doctor and they have prescribed a lot of pills, antacids and sleeping pills. My body is shrinking as well but now I am on a very healthy and nutritious diet. I cook my own food. I am also going to Luke Coutinho Hazel, India's top nutritionist. I am on his wellness plan for the next six months and his diet and nutrition, his doctors everything. So my lifestyle has changed and that has been a big achievement. Another major achievement in 2019 is my Dharma Film Shershah and another film, that is already on the cards. So fortunately God is being kind.”
Ask him what he learnt from last year, and he says, “The three main learnings would be never work for money. Work because you like to work, you enjoy your work.”
