MUMBAI: New show Radha Mohan will go on-air on May 2, 2022. Almost a month ahead of its premiere, the channel has released a promo giving a slight idea of its concept and storyline to the audience. The promo features lead actors Shabir Ahluwalia and Neeharika Roy in a beautiful backdrop. The video shows Shabir making everyone groove to his melodious tunes as he plays the flute. Meanwhile, Neeharika is seen getting stunned by Mohan aka Shabir’s charm.
Now, the latest update is that Ranveer Singh Malik, who was last seen in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, has been roped in for upcoming show.
As per a reliable source, "Ranveer has been finalized to play the role of Shabir's brother Rahul. His role of a carefree and spoiled brat."
When contacted Ranveer confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I am doing the show. For the first time I am getting an opportunity to play a negative character, which is a bit challenging for me. I am looking forward to this new journey. I hope I do justice to this character."
The production has in the past made popular shows like Ek Deewana Tha, Beyhadh 2, Mannmohini, and Bahu Begam. Ranveer feels he is blessed because he gets an opportunity to work with Prateek (Producer) and Shabir Ahluwalia.
Prateek Sharma’s LSD Films is known for creating realistic drama with the base elements of love and drama playing important roles in the plot. The production house has come up with some interesting concepts in the past.
