We recently connected with the multi-talented Faisal Khan. In a candid conversation with TellyChakkar, Faisal spoke at length on various topics of his interest. When asked about his show Maharana Pratap, he said, “Maharana Pratap will always be special for me as it was my first acting project. I never thought of being an actor. I used to casually act for fun's sake but never took it very seriously until Maharana Pratap happened. It was a learning procedure for me and I was so involved with the show that I used to read scripts with intensity and used to be surprised about our history. When I visited Chittor in real life, I had tears in my eyes, I just feel very connected to that era of our nation. If given a chance I would love to re-visit the era of Maharana Pratap”.

Talking about prepping for the show, the actor said, “Before Maharana Pratap happened, I was a boy-next-door with typical mumbaiya language. When I got the show, I realised I have to work very hard on several departments including my language. Physically, the show demanded many things like horse-ridding and sword-fighting. It was a great experience and will always be close to my heart”.
