Female fans of the handsome hunk Shaleen Malhotra seen in Star Plus’ cop based show Arjun are in for a shock. The reason for this is that the good-looking dude who till now was officially single is now looking to get into a relationship.

Since his character is shown as very serious in the show, what kind of a lover will he be in real life?

Here is Shaleen answering our queries. “Women seem to like serious brooding men (as his character is in the show) who will take care of them. I will play safe and try to be a fusion of a cool lover and somebody who she can bank upon. I would not only wine and dine my woman in the traditional way, but also will keep popping up surprises as an adventure trip just to keep the momentum going.”

Talking about his ideal woman, Shaleen says, “She needs to be very independent, loving and trustworthy.”

How high would drop-dead good looks figure on the man’s scale? “Looks are very important, so I would say 6,” comes his reply.

Ask him if any TV actress fits the bill and he avers, “Most of today’s TV girls are very independent- minded since they virtually carry the show on their shoulders. As for the other above attributes, one can only judge them if you meet them personally.”

In Bollywood he says, “I find Sushmita Sen to be the epitome of hotness right from my childhood days.”

Talking about his crazy fans, he states, “I have a few who think that they are married to me. Hence they message me in the morning telling me it is time to get up or mention the color of shirt I need to wear. They also remind me to have my food.”

So does he reply to such messages? “No, I am scared for if I do I will give them a window to get into my personal life. I am sure they are happy that I have read their text messages. Here I am glad that among the countless love letters that I have got, none are written in blood.”

In closing Shaleen says, “I do not understand the new concept of ‘giving space’ in a relationship. If you are a couple, you need to do things together. Having said this, if my future woman wants to march independently ahead on her career path, I will be more than happy.”

May you get your dream girl soon, Shaleen!!!
