Neha Yadav, popularly known as ‘Saumya’ of Suhani Si Ek Ladki, is back after a cherished vacation cum family time in the USA. Now, her sole aim is to work on herself and her body with respect to her health and fitness levels. 

Neha had been to USA to spend time with her sisters based out there. “I have two of my sisters in USA. I had not met them for nearly three years. When I was busy with Suhani, I simply could not get a long break for a USA trip. It was a good change for me, and I enjoyed family time.”

Now that Neha is back, she is working out profusely with a set goal in mind. “I have been gymming a lot post my return. I also have a trainer working on me now. I feel I can be in a better shape than what I am at the moment. I am doing it for myself and not for my work.”

Talking about her future, Neha states, “Suhani Si Ek Ladki has given me a good platform to build upon. On the kind of roles I will take, there is nothing that I have decided in my head. I want an interesting role, something that will excite me and one where I will have a scope to act.”

On her Suhani journey, Neha exclaims, “Saumya gave me all the popularity. I have had varied shades to portray; Saumya was good, bad, mother, bahu and what not!! I am happy and thankful for getting this opportunity. I have given three years of my life to the show, and that’s indeed an important part of my life. Looking forward, I want to do good work. But I am in no hurry. Yes, I miss work, but I want to utilize this time to the fullest. I am happy that I am giving my body the time it needs. I need to get better in health and fitness.”

Ask her if she watches the show now, and she is quick to say, “Yes, I did catch up with a couple of episodes. It brings back fond memories.”

So are you in touch with your Suhani co-actors? “Well, it’s not that we talk regularly. But yes, I have caught up and spoken with almost all after I got back.”
