Veena Jagtap, the mystery girl in Naksh’s life has indeed played her part and will soon bid adieu to Star Plus’ popular show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Director’s Kut). 

Viewers will be startled to know of Rhea being a thug, who has duped Naksh (Rohan Mehra) of being in trouble, only to get a hold on his family wealth. Soon, the Singhanias will get to know the truth and will get the girl arrested. 

Though short, Veena claims that she had a really sweet stint being part of Yeh Rishta. 

Says the actress, “I was doing Marathi TV when I got this offer. The moment I got into the cast of Yeh Rishta, I realized the huge popularity the show garners. I am happy that I got this opportunity. Yes, it would have been nice if the role stayed on. But I knew of this climax even before I took the role.”

Talking of the great response that she has bagged, Veena avers, “I was not active on social media. But when I got into Yeh Rishta, and created an official networking account for myself, I got a really good response which made me connect with the viewers. I am thrilled that I got noticed.”

Veena feels that she will put aside her work for Marathi TV and will concentrate more on Hindi shows. “I will want this nice phase to go on. It will be great if I bag another good show. The biggest plus of working in TV is that you will travel places and get into everyone’s living room. Recognition and the connection with viewers happen quickly.”

Ask her about her co-actors and the girl says, “Everyone gelled well with me. I felt really comfortable on the sets. I got to interact and shoot with Hina Khan too, and she is indeed adorable.”
