Rajiv Kumar has always attempted to take up something more distinguished roles in this industry but unfortunately, he has never been able to ‘fit-in’ to every genre. He has already featured in shows like Chhoti Bahu, Gustakh Dil, Sasural Genda Phool or Saas Bina Sasural and now will be seen playing the challenging role of a poor father, Bhuvan, in Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Guroudev Bhalla Productions Pvt. Ltd. Udann (Colors). In a conversation with Rajiv, he speaks to Tellychakkar.com about his character and the challenge he has taken up with Ud?nn. Said Rajiv, “Yes it’s true that people think I cannot pull of the role of being poor. This show is off-beat and when I was offered this role, there was a big question mark on everyone’s face. Why Rajiv? He is a misfit. But to prove my versatility, I have worked thoroughly on my looks and my character. I may not come across as the best but at least I will make sure to pull off what I have committed.” As of what has been shot, Rajiv claimed that all his sequences are high points which depict immense depression Bhuvan goes through. With no light moments, the actor fears of coming across as a sad personality with no other shade added to his character. The talented actor elaborated, “The thing is that all the sequences are on extremely high notches.
