I am really lucky to have an opportunity to play a character which is not like the ones you see on TV: Anjali Tatrari

This was her debut show and since it was such a unique concept we spoke to Anjali how she was extremely clear of her career choice and she was determined with what kind of project she wanted to debut with.

MUMBAI: We recently reported how Anjali Tatrari is going to miss shooting for Mere Dad Ki Dulhan on Sony TV.

This was her debut show and since it was such a unique concept we spoke to Anjali how she was extremely clear of her career choice and she was determined with what kind of project she wanted to debut with.

Anjali shared, “I was pretty determined from the beginning that I do not want to be a part of a project which is a saas-bahu saga. I was very clear that if I am doing a show, it has to be different. Even before I signed up for the show, I heard the script and it was different hence I agreed to be a part of the show. Obviously, it turned out to be even better later when we actually started portraying it. I am really lucky to have this opportunity to play a character which is so not like the ones you see on television. The entire show used to be hand held and the treatment given to the show was very different.

It never seemed like a routine to me. I always looked forward to coming on the set and it was never about 12 hours of shooting and other things. I used to infact look forward to shooting and did not realise how the year passed!”

Well said Anjali! (Also Read: Everything must come to an end at the right time: Anjali Tatrari on Mere Dad Ki Dulhan ending
