MUMBAI: Zee TV’s popular fiction show, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, has received immense love from the audience courtesy its unique and intriguing storyline. Following a 20-year leap that saw the tragic death of Akshat (Nishant Singh Malkhani) and Guddan (Kanika Mann), the story now revolves around the ups and downs of their daughter, Choti Guddan’s life. Essayed by Kanika Mann herself, Choti Guddan soon finds her hero in Agastya (Savy Thakur) who is all set to give her all the happiness that she deserves. However, much to her dismay Money Birla (Pratham Kunwar) and Nia (Maera Mishra) are up to bringing in various twists, turns and unwanted chaos in her life. While Choti Guddan may have to face each obstacle on her own, Kanika Mann has the strongest support of her family especially her youngest brother who is now, literally a few steps away from the actress.

During her initial days, our very own Guddan used to live away from her family and alone in Mumbai. Post the breakout of the COVID-19 pandemic, her family too joined her in the city, and they’ve been living together ever since. Post the lockdown Kanika’s real brother, Abhijeet began interning on the sets of Zee TV’s Apna Time bhi Aayega and often catches up with his sister, as both the shows have been working just a floor apart on the same set. Kanika, who shares an extremely tight bond with her brother, is certainly proud of her younger brother starting his journey to make it big in the city of dreams. 

Expressing her emotions, Kanika shared “My brother Abhijeet had just passed his 12th board examinations and because he had quite some free time on his hands, I thought of bringing him on the sets of Guddan… Tumse Na Ho Payega to experience the kind of work that happens on our set. It’s been almost 2 months since he has been coming with me and he has found thorough interest in the work. In fact, he is now working as a production intern on the sets of Zee TV’s new show Apna Time Bhi Aayega and I feel so proud to see him work so hard and reach set on time.  He has an eccentric energy and he’s even more enthusiastic about working than I can ever be. We don’t get time to eat our lunch together because he has made so many friends with the crew members of his show that sometimes, he takes the lunch box from my room and shares a meal with them. At time we do get a chance to go home together which is surely the best thing compared to the days when I would wrap up from set alone.  For the last 7 to 8 years I’ve been living alone in Mumbai but post the pandemic, my mother and my brother came to stay with me and that makes me beyond happy. My house feels more like a home now that my family lives with me.”

Thrilled to be reunited with her family, Kanika surely can’t help but have her own little cloud nine moment. However, things do not seem all happy and cheerful in Choti Guddan’s life. Nia and Pushpa  are set to make a revelation that is going to leave Guddan shocked.
