MUMBAI: Ruhi Chaturvedi and Shivendraa Saainiyol, who features in Choti Sarrdaarni, have began the new chapter of their life. They got engaged recently.
Interestingly, they have been friends for the past 13 years, but it’s their families who played matchmakers. Ruhi, who also plays the antagonist, Sherlyn, in Kundali Bhagya, said to Times of India, “It’s unusual for a bride-to-be to not feel nervous on her big day, but I was not jittery at all. For me, it was like getting engaged to my best friend. I am sure that the life ahead will be full of fun and adventure.”
She added, “Though Shivendraa and I didn’t have a couple performance, we danced the night away with friends and family. It was one big party with all our favourite people.”
The engagement ceremony was attended by her Kundali Bhagya co-actors. Dheeraj Dhoopar and his wife Vinny Arora, Anjum Fakih, Manit Joura, Abhishek Kapoor, Supriya Shukla, and Ruhi’s father’s actor friend, Gufi Paintal were spotted at the occasion.
