Hello everyone, This is Leena Jumani on the other side whom you all know as Paridhi from Zee TV’s Punar Vivah and also as Mala from my last show Kairi— Rishta Khatta Meetha.

Firstly, let me start by briefing you a bit about myself. Born and raised in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, I completed my schooling from there itself. Didn’t get into further studies after I finished my 11thstandard; instead decided to make my career in television. Currently, I am staying in Mumbai with my parents.

Since my childhood, I have been inclined to watch television shows and had dreamt of getting into television and work in TV serials. This passion made me shift to Mumbai to chase my dreams.

After coming to Mumbai, I started giving auditions. Later on, after I came to know that Balaji Telefilms were coming up with a show, I went to their office and dropped my photos in their drop box. A few days later, I got a call from them asking me to come down for an audition. Accordingly, I went there and by God’s grace, I got selected for the role of Khemi, a small town girl in NDTV’s Bandini.

Later, I did small cameos in shows like Kitani Mohabbat Hai, Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna, Aahat, Tere Liye, Jyoti, Adalat among many others. I also did full fledged roles in Koi Aane Ko Hai, Ganga Kii Dheej, Kairi-Rishta Khatta Meetha, and now in Punar Vivah.

Earlier, I have done many Gujarati films and now you will also see me in Sajid Khan’s upcoming filmHimmatwala in which I am playing Ajay Devgn’s sister, Padma.

I think my journey till now has been very good, though I have struggled a lot to reach to this position. But that’s okay; struggle is a part of an actor’s life. I am very happy with all the roles that I have played till now. Luckily, I have got chance to show off my versatility in all the characters that I have played. But in today’s time there is always a tension that a show might go off air.

On the personal front, I am very much single and ready to mingle. I believe in the institution of love cum arranged marriage. To unwind myself, I like listening to music and do a little of dancing. Other than that, I like to swim too.

Well, this has been my journey till now. Hope you keep loving me and also like me in my upcoming film.
