Poonam Pandey is no stranger to controversy. But this one ended up surprising her too. Or so she claims. In a new twist to IPS office Sunil Paraskar's alleged rape case, a leading daily reported that the Mumbai crime branch will question Poonam Pandey soon in connection with case. Poonam's name cropped up after the victim reportedly told the police that the IPS officer has been harassing her at Poonam's behest who is a professional rival of the victim. The victim has also reportedly exchanged a few tweets with Poonam. The Mumbai crime branch is now reportedly keen on determining the nature of Poonam's relationship with the IPS officer and will reportedly call her for questioning soon. Meanwhile, Poonam remains in a state of utter shock and expressed her surprise to see her name being bandied in the case. Speaking to us over phone, Poonam said, "When I woke up this morning, I was surprised to see my name in those news articles. I don't know the IPS officer and the model. I have absolutely no contact with both." When asked if she has been contacted by the Mumbai police, Poonam answered in negative. "Not yet," said Poonam. Meanwhile, the IPS officer has rubbished all allegations of rape levelled against him.
