I don't take any comedians as my idol: Sudesh Lehri

Sudesh Lehri

Those, who have been missing punch lines of ace comedian Sudesh Lehri, for them the talented star is back again, on small screen with his partner Krushna Abhishek in Comedy Nights Bachao (Optimystix) on Colors.

Speaking about his new show, Sudesh commented, “The show will present a new concept and I am sure that everyone will appreciate that. Those, who will appear in show as guests, they know that they will be grilled and they will be prepared for that. As for example we can say that when Sohail Khan came to the show, he was well aware about the fact that he will be roasted”.

Asked about his absence from small screen for some times now and the talented stand-up comedy artist said, “I quitted my previous show as I felt that I was not getting ample scope to perform over there. I simply wanted to work, as I love doing that. Now, once I left, I believe audiences started missing my pairing with Krushna even more and now our presentation be pleasing for them as well”.

Commenting further about his genre of comedy, Sudesh stated, “I have a typical style of comedy. I am much thankful that I am uneducated in real life and I believe that nuisance of not being learned enough comes to my performance, which in turn has given birth to my style of comedy. And somehow, it seems that my audiences prefer that from me”.

So, who is your favourite comedian and Sudesh’s answer will surely amaze you. The much sorted man mentioned, “Though I like Johnny Lever and Mehmood, I don’t take any one of them as my idol. Even I don’t like watching comedy films as that I believe will influence my own performance. Hence, it’s always better to maintain ones’ own style”.

Well said Sudesh!!! We second you talented man.
