After the enormous success of the first season of the Marathi version of KBC — Kon Hoeel Marathi Crorepati, Big Synergy productions and Viacom 18 has once again come together to roll out the second season of the show. While the veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has been a host to majority of the seasons and entertained the audience in KBC Hindi, Sachin Khedekar has once again taken it up upon himself to host the second season of KBC — Kon Hoeel Marathi Crorepati. In conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Sachin mentioned how he was skeptical in the first season to debut in anchoring. “I would like to share that I had never anchored before the first season of this show. I have seen Mr. Bachchan anchor the show each season and it was a dream come true when I was offered an opportunity to anchor the same in my language. I draw inspiration with the way Amitabh Bachchan hosts the show as it is not easy to establish connect with the contestants and I try to ape his charisma while anchoring the show. I am elated and extremely glad to have received a phenomenal response. ” Sachin believes that this show has been a life changing experience as this platform gives an actor a platform to interact with his fans and other common people in the society. Sachin also goes ahead and talks of the challenges which one has to face while anchoring. “Before the show begins, I know their profiles. My job is to nudge them on their ambitions, emotions and their need. Once I know them, I connect it to money and that is where the chat comes in. I face difficulty when people do not open up as they are scared about the next question, lack of life-lines and confusions about the answer. Jeopardy is the game in KBC and I love cracking the task.” We wish the actor lots of luck with the show!!!
