MUMBAI: Madalsa Sharma made her Television debut with Star Plus’ Anupamaa. The actress has received accolades for her performance and is being loved by many. (Read here: Madalsa Sharma: It was pure destiny that I bagged Anupamaa amidst this pandemic  )

In a candid conversation with TellyChakkar via Zoom call, Madalsa revealed her views about different characters in the show. When asked about her reaction as a human being on Vanraj’s behavior, she said, “When I read the scripts and get to know about Vanraj’s ill treatment towards Anupamaa, I was filled with anger. Sudhanshu is such a convincing actor that You really don’t like the way he treats Anupamaa but I get satisfied when Kavya gives it back to him. Kavya is someone who deals with Vanraj very aptly and doesn’t take his shit and gives it back in style. That’s when I feel better as a human being.”

She added, “Although Kavya is another woman in Anupamaa’s husband’s life, she has been justified pretty well in the show. Kavya reacts to the tricky situations in her own way and the back stories and justifications to her actions are made quite specifically in the show and thus I believe it is not an out and out negative character”.

She also added that she feels upset at Anupamaa being at the receiving end of Vanraj’s behaviour.
