It's not easy to go bald on-screen but actress Krutika Desai Khan currently seen as Ekadashi on Colors' Uttaran did the brave act of shaving off her hair a while ago to justify her on-screen character. What caught our attention was her cropped hair in the show, something that she has managed to maintain for a while now. But doesn't she miss her long hair? "I do miss it at times but then I will be maintaining this look for the role," states the actress. Now that's what we call devotion. What about a wig? Wouldn't she want to go ahead with the wig now that her role is well established? "There are times when my hair grows a bit longer than needed for my role and then I wear a wig. But otherwise I make it a point to get it cut," admits Krutika. The artist means every bit of what she says as she is not looking forward to any change in her look in the serial. "I have essayed some extremely glamorous roles in the past with all the jewellery and make-up and trust me I don't miss it at all. In fact, I love the simple avatar that I don in Uttaran for it's an easy way out for me and I am enjoying it. In fact, it might get difficult for me when I take up my next project as I might have to get back to jewellery, make-up, heels et al," she end with a smile.
