It has always been said that being a part of Colors’ Bigg Boss never gets the contestant anywhere apart from an odd film role here and there. But Sana Khan has changed the ball game completely. This hot South film babe is doing Mental with Bollywood’s current baadshah, Salman Khan. “Obviously, I am very happy doing my first Hindi project with India’s biggest superstar,” quips Sana. Incidentally, Salman was also the host of her show (Bigg Boss season 6). “I did not know Salman or Sohail Khan before the show; in fact the only interaction I had with them was during and after the conclusion of Bigg Boss. And I am extremely proud that they have selected me. The best part of them is that they are so down to earth, warm and friendly,” she adds. Sana refuses to divulge more details of Mental except, “We are shooting for the film and hope that it releases soon.” She also stresses that her role is not a cameo appearance but a full-fledged one. Sana, who has done eight films down South before joining Bigg Boss, says,“On the whole, the above mentioned reality show on Colors changed my professional life. Do I need to say more after grabbing Mental.” She also adds that when she had been first been approached for Bigg Boss, she was a bit hesitant hearing about the so-called scripting. “But luckily, I went in to get the experience and within a week when I saw everyone crying and being themselves I wanted to slap those guys who spread rumors about this Endemol project being scripted.” Remind Sana of the negative controversy regarding her and co contestant Aashka Goradia and she replies, “Aashu was very upset; luckily for me, my parents supported me and they didn’t ask me anything about it. Ashu was more than a sister to me; she was my friend, philosopher and guide,” she maintains. But recently you guys have again put a Blackberry Display picture which can be misinterpreted? “Yes, we had clicked it during one of our dinner outings. Normally, girls are always more expressive about their emotions with others of their kind. Many a female click similar pics which guys don’t. I don’t know what to say if you just want to get some masala out of it by giving it a different spin,” she maintains. We then turn her attention to Rajev Paul who was also linked to her in Bigg Boss. “He is a friend. Besides that there was nothing much between us. I am in touch with him even now,” she adds.
