The duo is set to tie the knot on 27 November in their hometown Kolkata.

We all know Dimpy was once happily married to politician-actor Rahul Mahajan. But sadly things did not work out well and both parted ways.

Dimpy looks very much excited on her new start but at the same time we were equally anxious to know if ex husband Rahul is happy with her wedding.

Hence, we buzzed Rahul who sounded pretty much calm and composed and told us, “Yes, I got to about her engagement and I am very happy for her. Although we are not together still we do text each other once in a while. I will surely text her soon. I wish her lots of luck and success for her new beginning.”

Do you still miss her? “Well, she is my ex now but we always wish well for each other.”

Given a chance, will you attend her wedding? “If your ex would be getting married will you attend the wedding? No, right? I wouldn’t want any of us to feel awkward.”

Do you regret marrying Dimpy? “Not at all. You are defeated when you give up. I believe in taking good memories ahead in life. My friends and family has been very supportive and that’s all that matters to me.”

Any plans to settle down again? “It’s up to God. I don’t want to be desperate and run behind anyone. I never plan things and go with the flow.”
