Small screen actress, Urvashi Jogiya who hails from a small town in Nagpur came to Mumbai in pursuit of her childhood dream of becoming a well known actress. The pretty lady is currently learning a variety of dance forms even though she keeps busy portraying diverse roles on television.

The beautiful Urvashi has been seen doing episodic roles in Emotional Atyachar, Adaalat, Savdhan India, Fear Files and also features regularly in print advertisements and video commercials in the south. She has also featured in the Colors’ show Madhubala as RK’s (Vivian Dsena) heroine.

Talking about her dreams and aspirations, Urvashi expressed, “To pursue a career in acting has been my childhood dream and I want to see myself doing a lot of challenging roles. Right from the time I started my career in this industry, I consider myself lucky that I have not faced many hurdles. I would give credit to myself for being more focused towards my goals and being confident at auditions.”

Urvashi is of the opinion that she wants to do roles which are substantial and offer her an opportunity to show her versatility and talent.

She said, “So far, I have been offered positive and glamorous roles but I would love to see myself essaying roles which are complex and interesting like a schizophrenic, drug addict or a character of a prostitute. Such kind of roles will be an absolute challenge and I would thoroughly enjoy essaying it on-screen along with the other positive and negative roles I play.”

Way to go, Urvashi!!!
